January 2--Off To a Good Start!

Today I went to the thrift store to buy some goal pants. First, a pair of Calvin Klein jeans (for $3.88) in a size 7--super snug. Then, a pair of Gap kaakis for ($4 something, they were 30% off the ticket price) in a size 6. Let me say that I'll be going to that thrift store MUCH more often for my own clothes, they have great brands for just a few bucks. I buy the kids' clothes new because at end-of-season clearance I pay pennies more than thrift store prices, and even though I bargain shop for myself, I can't say that I get deals like that. The tags are on a color cycle, so at times stuff is 70% off the ticket price!

Anyhow, so I think that 10 lbs will be get me into the 7s, not so sure about the 6s. We'll see when the 10 lbs comes off, I guess!
